As my girls used to say, OMG! He was *so* surprised and so pleased!!!! I got really lucky and the guys delivered it right before he got back from running an errand, so it was in place and all the furniture rearranged when he got home.

I shared all of the forum discussion on the piece so he would appreciate even more how wonderful it really is. Duane, please tell John how much we love his work. This is a truly special piece for a truly special person. (We've been married for 31 years, so I know).
