Default Couch Repair, or Cat Scratch Fever (with photos)

Hello. I am renting a furnished apartment. Our cat had some growing pains, particularly with scratching the corner of the couch. It is not time to move out and I would like to avoid buying the couch and chair. I have cut the fibers as best as I can, but it is still not quite there. It is a beige cloth couch, microfiber? I am not sure exactly. Hope the photos show how it is.

    Big thanks!

First, buy a cheap full-size bed cover and throw it over the couch (if the cat is still scratching).

Next, buy a battery-powered fabric shaver, like this, and run it over the couch. I did this for a chenille-upholstered couch we once had and it worked like a dream.

    Good luck!
