Did you receive the high resolution photos? Thanks!
I did not. Please post them here. Simply use a photo imaging program like Photoshop Elements, and make the size 5" x 7" (or approximate) with DPI set to 140. That allows the photo be quite nice in size and under the buffer filters of the forum.

Here are a few more shots.
And a few more.
And finally the last batch. I hope this is helpful. Also the unfinished side of the leather looks and feels just like luggage russett in that it is soft and white.
Your help is greatly appreciated. I really want a sofa that matches as closely as possible. I understand about age and fading but if I could match at least the material and finish that would be great!
OK, I'm going to take a guess here, but its not a good enough guess to order a piece from. I think what you have is Hand-Antiqued Saddle with a VERY light burnished/antiquing treatment on it. It appears to be much lighter than normal. There is a chance it can be Luggage Russet as well, but I usually don't see the swirl marks from the glaze in Luggage series. I will have to forward your photos to Hancock and Moore as I'm not confident enough to say one way or another. I know they will say they need a piece of leather to identify positively as well, but without a flag on the bottom of the chair there is no place to get a cutting. You don't happen to be reasonably close to Hickory NC where you could take the chair to them, by chance?
How much of a match are you looking for? if you want a 90% match or better in the new sofa, you will have to get the chair back to them......

90% match would be great! I'm trying to match the type of leather exactly and the color or finish as close as possible. Please forward any pictures to your Hancock and Moore rep and hopefully someone will recognize it. If I get a close enough match I'd like to order some pieces for a room.
Taking the chair to them would be close to impossible. I am in Illinois. Good idea though. That would provide the closest match for them to actually see the chair. How about shipping the chair there and back with my pieces once they finish them?
Thanks!
Forwarded to H&M, they should be able to figure it out, lots of eyes there to look at it. We could have the chair go back, but it would be about $ 400 to round trip it....I think we can do it with photos and perhaps some leather samples.

Not coming up with any ID's on the leather. Best thing to do is PM me with your name and address, and I will select 5 or 6 leathers I think will come close and mail them to you.

Did you ever learn what the leather was on this George III chair? Love the color.
