Stickley v. Hancock & Moore Leather Sofas

Hello - this is my first post here. I was hoping to get some feed back on either of these makers when it comes to leather sofas. I've got my choices narrowed down to a Stickley Essex/Stickley custom sectional) or a Hancock and Moore Restoration.

Any information that you could provide on these 2 makers regarding: leather quality, build quality, comfort, longivity, or whatever you think might be helpful would be greatly appreciated. Another thing, I do have chronic back issues so any cushion recommendations for a firmer cushion would also be helpful.

This is quite an old thread so I don’t know if you’re still looking, bu5 I had a Stickley Essex. One insight I can give you is that their FOAM inserts are like ROCKS, that soften marginally over time. Otherwise, it’s a lovely, “forever” built chair.
