Default "I can't buy it without sitting on it first"

The most oft-heard comment in my store. About 10x a day. No dealer can stock every frame, you will probably see about 3 % of the line at a large dealer. However, most furniture tends to sit similar from a given maker (notice the word 'tends'!) and if you like the way several pieces do sit, chances are you will like the one you can't sit in.

If you really-really-REALLY have to sit in a frame before buying and no dealer has one, you can make the trip to the factory when one is coming off the production line. Your local dealer can set that up for you.

Guilty! For a sofa or a regular chair, that's not that important to me. But a recliner is different -- almost like trying on shoes!
