A new leather I ordered at the Fall Market. Great mid-tone brown in a burnished hide. And of course, I do like these Tannery chairs - they sit very well even for big guys without taking up a lot of floor space or making visual blocks in a room. and who can't like the detail with gimp (border) running all over the chair? In my store as floor stock.

I love the burnished leathers..... any downside to those?
No, there are none to my knowledge. They are very easy to maintain, and if you get a surface scratch on one or an abrasion mark, you can rub a Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Lotion into the the leather and it disappears. They're not for someone who demands and exact color match from a swatch, because each one is hand-finished, but they're my favorite class of leathers right now. I just brought home a pair for my own home today (Tannery Chair in Hand Antiqued Sunset Burnished).
