Default Panicking - damage to waxy pull-up

    Hello -
My husband and I bought this Lex Chambers Sofa 2 months ago. Either one of our dogs snuck up on his last night - or my son's cast scratched it up. Please guide me through getting the color back. Thank you!

I've not seen anything like that before, that's pretty severe. You leather is a 'pull-up' type engineered to show 'color bursts' when stressed, but that is pretty heavily stressed. Try using your fist, balled up, and the heel of your hand and massage the area as hard and as long as you comfortably can do - putting as much heat and pressure into it and try to 'blend it out'.

Option 2 (test this in an inconspicuous spot first), get a little Vasoline Intensive Care hand lotion and massage into the area, working the leather. This may or may not achieve any results.

Option 3, return the seat cushion to the factory so they can sew in a new piece of leather.

Thank you for the suggestions. I figured out what caused it. There was a blanket on the couch and the dog was trying to "nest it", therefore scratched and scratched. I will try your suggestions. Thanks again.
