We are going to buy a Hancock and Moore Chesterfield sofa ( #8173, 87" Width), what leather you think is best for this kind of sofa? Tks
We are considering Antelope wine, caper butternut, Imperial Whiskey Burnished, and Heirloom Chestnut. Can anyone give me some idea?? Tks
That's like asking me what ice cream you should get at Baskin Robbins. My answer would be in that case, 'get the one you're in the mood for, they're all good - and they're all different.'

Thank you very much for the reply.
Can you rate the leather selection if you are going to buy a 8173 chesterfield sofa for yourself?
capri butternut
cameo brown burnished
imperial whiskey burnished
PS. I saw you post a 8172 sofa with capri butternut before and it looks great, I have a heirloom chestnut H&M chancellor sofa but I want another leather not that dark and not that "old" this time but still looks classic in my study/ office.
I'd buy any of those leathers. Capri if I wanted a super soft luxury hide.....either of the burnished if I wanted more of a pub look.

I realize these posts are old but I was looking at all the images for the H&M Chesterfield and I am curious if this is even a Hancock and Moore piece. The pattern of the buttons on the front is not consistent with other images for a H&M Chesterfield and frankly, the tailoring is poor with the button spacing off and trim not straight which I wouldn't expect from Jimmy Moore's company.
I believe the bun feet are also different and Hancock and Moore's Chesterfield has a row of nails at the bottom which I an sure could be customized and omitted but assuming it is the standard configuration for its manufacturer, I think this is somebody else's chesterfield sofa. I think H&M would bed done better work than this.
