Worn or damaged leather question with picture

I purchased a used H&M Journey sofa, chair and ottoman recently. The set is about 3 years old. The sofa is in about as good of condition as I could hope for. Excellent condition, no noticeable puddling in the seat cushions or back.

The chair, however, looks like it has some wear or damage to the arms and seat. I'm posting some pics. Hopefully someone can tell me what it looks like and if there is a remedy. Also, the original owner said they have used leather conditioner on the set.
