    Default Leather recliner help please!

Hi Duane! Thanks for what you're doing - you are a huge help!!

My husband and I have been searching for a pair of leather recliners and have narrowed it down to B-Y or H&M. The trouble is finding them in stores to try out. We want a more transitional looking recliner - with a single pillow back and minimal to no nail head. I like the look of the B-Y 3224 (Landry 3-Way Lounger)...have you had this in your store? My husband is about 5'10" and some of B-Y recliners seem too narrow and not deep enough (space between top of arm and seat) when fully reclined (like the Yorba we tried out in a local store). Do you have any recommendations for a recliner that would fit our needs?

Thank you so much for your time!

    Hi Tracy,

Glad you are enjoying the forum!

I've had the 3224 in my store and its OK, but no home run (at least when I sit in it). My favorite recliner within the style you are looking at is hands down the H&M Founder's:

Its going to be more in price than the BY, but I sure like the way it sits.

    Good luck in your search.

Is the Founder's recliner comfortable for a big man? It looks like it might be. I'm want to buy a recliner that's more transitional but good for my husband...

I think it is, but can't say that he would...you know comfort is very subjective.

I know you're right about subjective. And I know you are generally right about comfort levels as far as my husband....

    I'm asking for an opinion
