I know several of you do not recommend Motion Sofas, or Reclining Sofas -- so this question includes Recliners, as well.
Can anyone point out which models of Reclining Sofas and/or Recliners from the better brands have minimal wall clearance when fully-reclined?
Hancock & Moore, or Bradington-Young are my first choices -- but I will consider others. I'm just having a hard time finding that information. These could be in leather or fabric, actually, as I have not made up my mind, yet.
The living room in my home is so small that I must be careful. I do not have a lot of room for ottomans -- so Incline items won't quite work. Swivel Recliners are also an option.
Any help is appreciated!
The term used is "Wall Hugger" and typically they will have bases that go to the floor in most makes. They 'slip forward' on the mechanism rather than reclining back. Usual distance from the wall is 2" to 3".
In H&M, go to the home page and type in the search box the word "WALL" and the models will display
In B-Y, its more awkward to find them. Go to their website, click on RECLINERS, then scroll down to the bottom and click on ones in the 7xxx number series, then read the 'distance from wall' measurement. Not all 7xxx series are wall huggers - but most are.

Great! Thanks. I'll go take a look.
Is there any access to online choices of leathers and fabrics at Bradington-Young? I like their 7240 Recliner. And is the 912-90 their only Reclining Sofa?
Not yet, though on-line photos of their leathers are supposed be available next month. Don't expect fabrics anytime soon, however. Yes, the 912 series and its variants are the only motion sofas at this time.
