Here are pictures of my new sofa and loveseat in Yardley Merlot--Thanks Duane for a wonderful buying experience! I love the Yardley leather--it is soft and has a worn-in feel and look. The color I wanted was back ordered so I had to wait, but I'm glad I did. The second photo shows the swatch that I had on the sofa cushion--a pretty good match.
The color is a nice compromise for me since I wanted a red, but not a screaming red. It is a little bit red, a little bit brown. It goes well with the rug which has muted reds and olive colors.
This is the regular Austin sofa/loveseat not the high back which would have been too tall for the window wall. It is very comfortable--I fell asleep it on it the first night.
Thank you!
Yardley is a great leather for price grade 2, its one of my top picks in that price class. It's 'real leather' rather than some of the over-worked, over-processes hides that dominate that price category. Glad you are enjoying it, and I do like the big Turkish rug you have in the room, too.
