Default Taylor King "America's Pride" 75-1 sofa in Slider Celadon

This is the BEST deal going that I know of in a USA-made sofa. This is 100% USA-made with USA fabrics, a hardwood frame (not plywood), real 8-way hand-tied springs, high quality Qualux cushions and blend down pillows. The fabric choices are decent and the price is amazing. (Taylor King has an internet price policy that forbids me posting it, but I can tell you its very aggressive).

Sits good, looks good, well-made, priced VERY right, good fabrics. What more could you ask for? Shown in the smaller 75" size, there is a larger model available as well.

I know at one point you had a thread that had the various options for these, as well as some of the fabric choices. Was that removed (I know it had pricing information in it, so that may be why)?

Correct, I removed the entire series thread at the request of Taylor King Management. Here's the promo without the pricing. Right click your mouse over the photo and select 'view image' for a larger, detailed photo of the available fabrics.

Our local dealer has that on display.. It's a very nice sofa at a great price. The lack of fabric choice is the only thing that kept us from ordering it.. If you want other fabrics, you lose the promotional pricing..

Absolutely. Once you come off those deal fabrics the price goes up considerably. I thought the selection to choose from is pretty good, and broader than most promos offer.

How long is the promotion going on for? Is this promotional better priced that the sofas in their Cozy Creations line? Also among the sample choices, which sample feels the softest? Thanks in advance.

This is an ongoing promotion with no specific end date. Yes, its FAR more aggressive than Cozy Creations in price - l'm not kidding when I say its the best value I've seen in an upholstered special in many years time. The quality is high-end, USA-Made (even USA fabrics) yet you can buy it at made-in-China prices. Wish I could post the price, but I can't....and every dealer will sell at their own price point so they will vary from store to store.

"Notable" is the softest hand of the fabrics offered to my liking. Comes in two colors, they will be 685-7 and 500-2

    Hi Duane,

Is this sofa still made by TK? I can't find it on their website. I also can't find any reference to the portfolio collection. Any pointers?!

If you go to the Taylor King website, I believe they refer to them now as the "Taylor Made" line. You can view the "Gallery" and "Brochure" under the "DESIGN YOUR OWN" heading, which also includes the "Cozy Creations" line.

We recently purchased a "Taylor Made" sofa (same style as the one Duane posted, but in the 83" length) and are VERY pleased with it. The sofa resides in a seating area adjacent to the kitchen, so it gets lots of daily use. We find it extremely comfortable and well made.
