How to Identify the Manufacturer of a Gateleg Table
Does anyone have a clue what the name of this table is? Here is the logo that has worned off. The bottom says 1710 and there's a 33 inscribed inside table and on the drawer. Thank you

Gatelegs like that are very cool, the form is classic and they are very hard and costly to make correctly. That table has been abused. Ugh. Definitely belt-sanded and it may or may mot have come that way. It needs a full re-strip of that red paint to see what you have. If that were my table, I'd strip it, plan on tossing the top, and put a nice tiger maple top on it with a milk painted black/green over red base.
