Default Is solid wooden furntiure is really better?

I read too many artcile about solid wooden furniture and said that it is the best furniture for home decoration, however, I think it is too heavey and not easy to move, is it really better for young people?

Solid wood furniture can be well-made or cheaply made. Most "young people" can't afford the well-made stuff. If you are determined to buy only solid wood furniture it will greatly limit your choices. Most solid wood furniture has very basic styling unless it was made by a really skillful craftsperson. Solid wood furniture also tends to warp more easily than veneered, especially on larger surfaces.

You will probably find your best solid wood values by touring the antique shops.

Also, solid wood furniture is not always heavier than veneered. There are many variables including the wood species and thickness of the boards used.
