Comforel cushions?

Here's something I had never head of before. Not foam, not feather/down, but comforel stuffed cushions?

Any thoughts?

Not familiar with that at all. I'd be curious if the inner material is prone to migrating towards the cushion bottom when used as a back cushion.

I'm going to have to check it out in person. Interesting claim "The comforel is superior to foam in many ways - longevity, loft retention, it never mats nor does it ever deteriorate."

Duane: I believe you've checked the photos of their workshop out before and gave them the thumbs up. They are a dedicated husband/wife team out in the country who produce a small line of transitional-style leather furniture (maple frames, 8 way hand tied, and only Austrian leather). I haven't seen any pieces in person yet (it's over an hour away from here) but I'd be surprised to learn they cut corners. Their whole business seems to be based on producing a steady amout or reasonably priced pieces in a handful of styles. I really tend to believe that they are onto something because it's better. They've only been building since the late 80s, but one of their photos shows a third generation purchase! (first grandma bought, years later mom, then years later still, the daughter)
