Default Buffalo Head nails on H&M Member Chair & Ottoman

I was thinking of adding buffalo head nails to the bottom of a H&M Member Chair and ottoman that I'll be purchasing soon. Just along the bottom edge spaced out and regular nails on the upper area. Those that have gotten buffalo head nails, are you happy with the look?

The Member series comes with narrow gimp, and I think the Buffalo nickels are too much on that particular frame. What would look nice is to contrast the gimp in a different color and use a standard size nail.

Forgive my ignorance on this Duane... But what is a gimp in reference to furniture?

Gimp is a kind of decorative trim. It is usually fairly narrow, contrasting fabric or leather. Leather can be finished side up or the reverse (looks more like suede).
