    Default Leather type question

    Hi Duane,
Can you tell what leather this is? It's a closer picture of the H&M on a chair I got at treasure trove thrift.

I think I found it --Pecos Oak. So far it marks pretty easy with the dogs- but when I wipe it down the marks mostly go away-- I read your earlier post on this type of leather and durability/ bomber look -- so the visible wear is really part of the look. I was really afraid of the aniline - just that the marks would be more like scratches - which they aren't. It's really soft! I've never had a "nice" chair before - wow it really is a huge difference to the usual stuff I find myself sitting in. Now I have to save the $ to get a sofa.
