Sundance Sectional in Weston Sand

We have recently renovated our patio and turned it into a sunroom/mudroom! We have french doors leading from the kitchen to the sunroom (see old photos at the beginning of this post for a "before"). I will share some makeover photos of that area at some point, as it has been a while since I logged in here!

NOW, for the reason I came back to search the forum: we finally have a need for an ottoman to go with our Weston Sand Sundance Sectional. I'm very tempted to just buy a ready-to-go tufted ottoman from a catalog store, but I also know there was a good suggestion for a companion H&M ottoman to go with a Sundance sectional. Can anyone remember the best one? A storage trunk was temporarily dragged into place to get a feel for the ottoman.

Well, I will attempt more uploading tomorrow. Just put some stained glass I created above the lockers and I want to catch the sunlight in the morning.

This is the other sunroom photo I promised - showcasing my custom lockers with stained glass above (made from my sketches - a nod to all my summers in Alaska as a kid). ***Why is my image rotating after upload? Sorry about that.***

A new living room photo with the Weston Sand sectional will be uploaded later. The lighting is off in the image I was trying to use, and now I have Christmas boxes all over. Will take one later! I have placed a cheapo ottoman there in the meantime.

Because you took the photo with an iPhone! In order to stop that from happening, after you take a photo on an iPhone, then tap EDIT and go a light cropping of it, then save it. Then when you post or send it, it will not be at 90 degrees.

That's a really good-looking built in, with a great floor and cool ceiling fan. Nice job on the colors, too, especially the ceiling in the soft blue to key the upholstery. You have good visualization skills, decorating and layout seem to come easily for you!

I love those cabinets ! You do have a designer's eye for color. I want to paint my ceiling now..

Thanks so much, wisejd, for rotating the image! I did take those on the iphone, now that I remember. It's just so much easier than getting out the Nikon these days.

For All: The ceiling is Benjamin Moore "Bali" - a nice haint blue that goes with my coastal and southern traditional design. We laid the brick floor in a herringbone pattern to add interest, and I used brick there not only for it's southern appeal, but for hiding the "things" that dogs and boys track in =) The cabinet color is Benjamin Moore White Dove. Window shades are Hunter Douglas woven woods. The fans are the Minka Aire "Wave" - really cool and pick up on the wood accents in the room. Rugs are Dash and Albert (denim rag rug) and Ballard (jute round rug). This room has it's own central a/c (mini-split by LG), and on a pretty day you can shut the system down and open all the french doors to the outside. Many years from now, I hope to put a pool out there! For now, it's a playset.
