What's the consensus on the memory foam cushions? Are they better than "regular" cushions? Do they last longer?
Don't do it. They leave impressions around your body and will make it very hot in the summertime.

I have it in the Southern Motion that I'm doing a re-select on. We've loved the "reclina-pedic" but we have deep indentions on the arms. The seat and back cushions are fine. We've only had it since December so haven't gone thru a summer with it. It has a great comfort level but my concern is the replacement I'm looking at doesn't have the memory foam and I thought the memory foam would wear better??
I personally would never select a Memory Foam cushion. I can't stand them.

I appreciate your input. Is your dislike more a personal thing vs. a wear issue? That's what I really want to know is how do they hold-up long term? I see 1.8 lb high density foam or 2.0 hd foam...do you prefer that or what type seat cushion is the best?
