Default Top small chair sits for tall folks?

I'm a tall guy looking for a very comfortable small chair. Recently I sat in the Gordon swivel/glider, and while I loved the comfort (and swivel/gliderishness) of the chair, I was not in love with the looks. The tight back is an improvement, but I'm wondering about all of their smaller H&M chairs, and comfort.

Do any members, and Duane in particular, have any opinions on the top small comfort chairs for tall folks?

Small Chair and Tall Person is not a great combination. My personal favorite is this one, it may not be much to look at but I can sit in this one for hours:

I too was not in love with the looks of the Gordon, something about the folds in the back did not appeal. But I wound up buying one anyway. Because we need a swivel chair and, we really liked the way the Gordon sat, a lot. And we didn't come across anything we liked nearly as much.

The thing that I don't understand is why we found that chair to be comfortable. My wife and I are short. According to posted specs, the Gordon seat depth is 23". Which should appeal to a relatively tall person but not to us. And the seat height is not short either. But for some reason we both still liked it. I guess once it gets here we can figure out why.

Whether chair height is a problem might depend in part on how you sit. I prefer a firm chair where I sit relatively upright. I don't really rest my head on any of my chairs.

But I'm no expert, and I certainly haven't analyzed it.

We ordered it in a nice looking leather, and I'm hoping it will look great in the end anyway, folds be darned.
Besides it isn't the only piece of furniture in the room, the rest can look great.

Ever try the Truman glider Duane? Looks quite nice in this leather. http://www.hancockandmoore.com/photo...tail.asp?ID=21

I've not had that piece come through the store ("Truman"). I'm sure I've tried it out at Market, but I can't recall it very well...sorry!
