I am looking for a good sectional sofa, and I have been all over the web reading up on how to shop for one, what to look for, etc. It is ridiculous. From what I can gather, unless you are willing to spend 10k and up, everything else is basically junk. That being said, I am looking at a sectional now, but cannot find out much about the quality or dependability. I have a Natuzzi sofa(not a sectional) that is about 8 years old, and it is still in great shape. I understand their sofas are now basically junk. My last purchase was a sectional from(please don't hang me for this)Rooms to go. Never again. Neither Ashley furniture. Both are horrible. So I decided to go to one of the upper end stores today (Hurwitz Mintz) as there are not many furniture stores in my area, looking for something that will last at least more than 5 years. I found a Franklin Furniture sectional ( Milano 413), that seemed to be ok. They want 2800 for it, and my budget allows 2000-3000. So it falls within budget, but I really can't find much on the web about build quality, type of wood used, assembly, etc. I did turn one part of it over, and noticed it did have some plywood frame construction about 7/8 to 1 inch thick. Does anyone have any info on this brand? I would love to know a little more before I purchase something. Below is a link to the sectional. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
