Question about Hancock and Moore Capri Amber

Hello! I need to place an order for a H & M City Sofa Sleeper and am having a tough time figuring out which Capri leather to select. I'm moving into a new house, so the color palette is very flexible. I really love Capri Amber - it reminds me of a vintage bomber jacket - but I have scoured the internet and cannot find any pictures of finished pieces in this leather! My worry with some of the Capri leather colors is that they appear blotchy, but find this to be the case more on the lighter colors. Has anyone used Capri Amber, or seen a piece finished in this color? Would love to hear any thoughts/feedback.. Many thanks!!
PS - I can't believe H&M doesn't show which leathers are used in their photo gallery - thank god for this forum!!

We never use the word 'blotchy' <tsk!> it's called "special effects"....lol

I've done one piece in Capri Amber and didn't care for it. It was pretty wild looking with the high / lows in that light color. The Capri Harness on the other hand, is probably my most favorite leather in the line, the color is fantastic and the special effects just right. Also look at Quintessence, as it comes from the same tannery and has very light special effects and in some colors and styles, its much better in that respect.

Thanks for the quick reply and feedback on the Capri Amber! I definitely am not looking for something wild : ) and have removed "blotchy" from my vocabulary lol! I'll take a look at Quintessence - thanks for the recommendation. Is Quintessence as soft as Capri? The softness may be a bigger priority than the special effects.. Thanks again!!

Oh yes, Quintessence is even softer than Capri....
