Default New Recliner Hardware Available at Hancock & Moore

The current hardware in use at H&M for all the recliners is test rated to 275 lbs for all the high-leg recliners (such as the 1003, 1001, 1044, etc). There is a new G30 series mechanism from Legget and Platt is just in at H&M that is rated to 350 lbs, and we can now request it in the recliners, if desired. Upcharge at this time is $ 80 per chair over the standard mechanism as it requires some custom work to fit, but they will eventually make it standard in the pieces as they adapt patterns to it (I do not know when that will be). If you would like this new G30 mechanism, specify at time of order and make sure your selling dealer writes it up on the purchase order. If you're a big person, it will probably be well worth the money as it less likely to exhibit mechanism failure as the piece ages.
