1st Furniture purchase (need help)

Hello, I am a new member, looking to make my first furniture purchase ever. I have a really limited budget ($1500 or less), and time constraints (need ASAP). At first, I almost bought a set from Ashley Furniture, before going online and reading about the quality. This led me to Belfort Furniture in Dulles, VA. I was there and the pieces I was looking at were American made, so hopefully better. I know I won't get great quality for less than $1500, but I'm looking for a sofa/loveseat or chair set. Below are the options I'm deciding between. Any pros/cons help? Any other ideas? I am not really looking to buy used furniture off of Craigslist. Thanks!

With option 4 & 5 is a leather purchase of this quality even worth it?

The good news is you live in Virginia. You actually can stop in at Duane's store, say hello and spend a little one-on-one face time. Something many of would like to do, but cannot. But then there's the bad news. You unfortunately won't be able to do much else because of your limited budget. $1500 will not go far in this furniture environment. You might get a good quality chair, but I think that would be about it. You're right to avoid all things Ashley, as it is well known to be garbage. Buy something else, anything else! The stuff at Belfort is probably fine for the money. I would definitely choose them before I chose Ashley.

Belfort is a little high on their prices. I sold two B-Y recliners identical to ones Belfort had this past Saturday and saved my new customers $ 550 on the pair. Not only that, they left Belfort because they said the lady was rude to them - that's how they came to find me! The savings was just a bonus.

Now, I'll let you in on a little secret. Since you have a tight budget and are in No. VA, go to Greenfront Furniture in Manassas VA and buy off the floor. They buy Market showrooms from High Point and get bulk deals on those purchases. They're not the best store to custom order from, but no one can touch their floor model prices, not even close. Its pretty much self-service there, but if you take your time and look around, and don't mind a few bumps and scratches on things (they don't take very good care of their floor models) you can get a $ 4,000 sofa for $ 1,500.
