Default Hancock & Moore TOWN & COUNTRY Promotional Program

07/16/19 : Last Day to order under this structure is Thursday, July 25th. A new program goes into effect on July 26th.

This is a year-round sales promotion that is revised for pricing in early January each year (occasionally), and always in July. You can get most of the frames in either leather or fabric at special pricing in selected covers..

Not every dealer will offer this promotion, as it requires a 'qualifying' buy-in to have access to it. If your local dealer does not know about it, likely they do not have it.

The Town and Country Program is simply select Hancock and Moore frames offered in specific leathers (and fabrics) at steeply discounted prices. These are the same frames as in the mainline catalog and are made to the same exacting standards as all the H&M pieces in Hickory, North Carolina. On average, Town and Country items in the promotional leather will be a about 20% less than buying it the same way out of the main catalog, so the savings are real and significant - if you like the leather offered. And therein lies the one thing to consider because a deal is not a deal unless you like what you've purchased.

There are a few caveats in this program as follows.

    In LEATHER:

    * There will be a "Married Cover" feature as shown in the photographic insets. These are the primary leather offerings on a given frame. Married Cover by definition means a leather that is cut and sewn to a pattern outside of the USA and arrives here as a pre-assembled leather 'kit'. When they make the furniture, they pull out a 'kit' and upholster it to the awaiting frame. Married covers will have the best price point. An example of these would be the Austin Series of furniture shown in Document. However, not every item features in an inset is necessarily a Married Cover. Some will be in that category yet are cut and sewn in Hickory NC. An example of these would be any item offered in a Burnished or Hand-Antiqued leather - those are all cut and sewn at the main factory.

    * You can change leg & wood finishes, select various nail trims and specify upgraded cushions on Town and Country items.

    * You cannot change welt trim, do any custom work, or request a CFA (cutting for approval) in the Town and Country program.

    * All Town and Country leather pieces will come with Qualux seat cores and Fiber Plush Backs standard, Optional cushions can be specified.

    * The photos of the cover on the frames may not be the cover the piece is being offered in. The inset photos are the correct leathers for Married Cover pricing.

    * There is a second tier in this promotion on frames, at slightly higher prices. These will be alternate colors to the ones being offered in the inset 'married cover' prices and done from loose hides in Hickory, NC.

Example: In the Austin series # 2038NB, High Back Tilt Chair, the Married Covers are Document Chestnut, Cavalier Henna or Cavalier Oxblood. Those leathers source from a tannery in China and are cut and sewn to that frame pattern in China, and will have the best price point. But lets say you prefer Document Copper over the Chestnut, or one of the other 20 colors of Document. You can still get that piece in the T&C promotion, but they are going to cut and sew the Copper here in the USA. Price difference between the married cover kit of Chestnut and the cut to order Copper will be about 15%.

    In FABRIC:

    * There are two groups of fabric, Group I and Group II. All Group I fabrics will be at the lowest price, Group II higher by about 15%. A List of all fabrics is included in the scan of the piece.

    * In Fabric, the standard cushion will be Spring Down Seats and Fiber Plush Backs. Ultra Down seats and backs are available at no extra charge.

    * In Fabric, nail trim is optional at additional cost.

    * In Fabric, you can get Fringe and Cording on throw pillows and seat & back cushions at no extra charge, as well as contrasting welt trim.

If you have any questions on this program, please submit under the LEATHER category.
