We need to order new sofas and lounge chairs for our beach home... they take a beating from the sun and are prone to accidents... So we really want to use Sunbrella, but finding almost no local lines in the stores offer much other than off white and few solid colors. We really want to avoid a COM situation, but right now that looks like our only viable option.
Is there any line out there that might surprise us with the availability of Sunbrella fabrics?
BTW, we are in Raleigh, NC... don't know if that helps or not since much of the NC manufacturing has moved out of state.
Thanks!
While I can't tell you which maker carries Sunbrella fabrics, there certainly are hundreds of upholstery makers still in the Carolinas. My suggestion would be to source the fabric you like and get the actual name and color used by Sunbrella. Then call Sunbrella Corportion and ask them if they sell that particular material to a domestic furniture maker in their lineup. They will know if you get to the right person. Good luck

DH and I were at Furnitureland South in High Point, NC a couple weeks ago. Huntington House had lots of Sunbrella fabrics to choose from.
