I worried about that too as the colors were crucial. but for me at least they were very true to the online look. I read reviews of each carpet and some people did mention that a particular rug or two did was brighter or duller then it came or that it had more, say, yellow than expected, that sort of thing but mine were right on.
It would depend on how well calibrated your computer screen was as well since you might have it set brighter or redder or greener etc. just like a TV set.
The company provides a satisfaction guarantee but then you would have to pay the shipping back. as it is it is free shipping to you. at least any order over $150.
It is important to read the descriptions very carefully and reviews if any, and some of these rugs you can find the same rug on various sites and so compare the colors and the reviews etc.

I still don't have my camera fixed but I can post pictures of the rugs I bought as they look online and as I say they were pretty right on at least from how they look on my computer.
