ID:	13491I have the full aniline kit for my one H/M chair and ottoman. However, I just got a used Hancock and Moore settee. It's in good shape. No cracking. I've been trying to just wipe off with a microfiber towel and use the upholstery brush on my vacuum. However it has beautiful tufting and associated folds which have some dirt and dust in them. I can't suck the dirt out of the button holes. (See pictures). Any suggestions for a quick clean up? All it has on bottom is H/M tag, but not other information about the leather, date, etc. Click image for larger version.

Try some Q-tips with some diluted soap and water on them. Once you free up the crud in the tufts it should come out.

    Hello Fearless Leader

I am interested in purchasing a kit for my H&M sofa. I need help identifying my leather. Problem is, I can't find my purchase receipt from 9 years ago. I have The Austin High back. I am pretty certain the leather is a class 3. It was a special price if you chose from 1 of a handful of leather options. We paid $2800 for it . From photos of leather on their website, I would guess its unprotected. It is a red/brown with some natural grain but overall smooth, not pebbly. The sales person said to just keep it wiped down with a moist towel and that it didn't need conditioning. My husband has conditioned maybe once year. It never sees the sun and is rarely sat in. We quickly realized we couldnt sit for hours in it watching movies so it's in the den. Its looking a little dry and faded in some areas. I would like to purchase the cleaner/conditioner but need help identifying my leather. I looked under the seat but the tag was no help, just a sample of the leather. Can I expect something underneath the sofa that will give some identification? Thank you so much for your help! Lizzy

    PS,
I just found a post of yours. I believe this is my sofa. I know it has been a good 9 years since we purchase
    d it.

If it was a promotional leather, then kit #1.

I was using my leather solutions kit on my sofa today, and I came here to remind myself what the proceedure is after I reread the card inside but I have a couple of questions. Are you supposed to wet the cloth before using the cleaner? I did not. I just rubbed it over the leather after moistening a soft cloth with it. Next, someone here mentioned waiting 2 hours but I am not sure for what? After applying the conditioner and before the protectant? After the protectant before using the sofa? Maybe it doesn't matter, but the instructions with these kits could use a little work.

Addendum: I found the post again and they mention you are supposed to let the conditioner "sink in" for 2 hours and let the protectant dry for 30 minutes. Do you know if this is accurate? There is nothing in my small instruction card with the kit H&M sent me and I don't have one from the larger kit I bought from you.

No, there is no "sink in" time. Apply lightly, let dry on each stage. If pure aniline, use a hair dryer to speed dry time and avoid spotting.

My first post and I’m sure you get tired of the same questions but here goes. I have H&M class 2 protected furniture in two different Juno colors. Do I use cleaning kit #1 on both?

Hello again, when I spoke with a woman (who knows you well) from H&M asking about cleaners or products for care of a new chair she told me that anything used on H&M’s leather would void the warranty. Is this true and would you use these care products anyway in order to maintain the recliner in pristine condition?
