Default Hancock & Moore-recommended Leather Solutions cleaning kits

    Referring to this: http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...oning-Protocol

So it looks like I'll need kit #2 for my Capri leather (Austin Tilt chair & ottoman) and #3 for my Yardley (Member sofa & ottoman).

How much product is typically used for one cleaning session? Would an entire kit be used per cleaning session? (every 3-6 months)... Would more than one kit be needed per cleaning session?

    thanks!

Just the Aniline kit is all you need, the Yardley is such a mild pull-up I'd not bother buying the specialty kit for it. One kit will likely last three applications on all, depending on how heavy its applied. At least two full applications.

Would the Scout leather line fall into the same category as Yardley with respect to the cleaner? I don't notice any pull up effect on that piece.

Also what is the recommended product (and cost) for protection against sun damage? Our sofa catches a about an hour of morning sun on one arm. Although it is not intense sunlight (for reference we are about as far north as the City of Quebec, Canada and the house faces northeast) we still want to protect the leather.

Scout is a GR 2 aniline hide, it is not a pull-up leather. You will want the regular aniline kit for maintenance.

For sunlight UV protection, my first choice is to have low-E glass in the windows, if now, then a solar film applied over the glass. Other than that, simple and effective is to have a small throw over that arm - it works! You can also buy a UV sunscreen liquid for leather from Leather Magic, be sure to not to apply to heavy to avoid spotting.

I have Weston Moss and Weston Sunrise Burnished. I guess the cleaning kit no 2 is good for that? Right? Thanks.

For the Weston Cane Burnished we need the Aniline #2 kit. Do we need kit #1 for Cavalier?

Weston is Kit # 2, Cavalier is Kit # 1. HOWEVER, you can use the # 2 kit on the Cavalier, it just won't be as strong.
