For anyone who has seen Capri Claret and Capri Bordeaux in person.
- Is Capri Claret candy apple red like this picture. http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...ghlight=claret
- Is Capri Bordeaux a reddish color like this bench http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...light=bordeaux or more wine/purple-ish like this sofa http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...light=bordeaux
Would the Teflon coating be on the samples we have? Or is it applied at a later stage.
Thanks
I have Capri Bordeaux on a Couch and LS, its a deep rich wine/burgundy color (indoors its a darker looking leather)...it really is an amazing color, combined with the shading effects just looks great. In person, its not purple looking at all.
Claret is definitely a brighter red, though I have not seen it person.
Not sure on the samples, how prepared.
Those old photos from 2008 were not with a very good camera! The colors are very harsh in those. Now I used a Nikon D40 and am also testing out a newer camera, a FujiFilm X100T which might even be superior to the Nikon D40. Still working with it, however.
Best to order samples other than rely on photos for color. They are free of charge and you can get up to a dozen per request. Just go into the QUOTES section here on the forum and make a request, you will have them in a few days.
That light teflon coating is put on at the tannery.
