Well, I have no hair so I can't be slick....
Budget is key. Have to have an idea of where you want to be price-wise. The most price friendly product I have is Bradington Young, where you can plan on $ 3,500 or so for a dual recliner sofa in base leather, and recliner chairs about $ 1,500 apiece (+/-). Stationary chairs around $ 1K. All depends on style and leather selected. Shipping additional,
Hancock and Moore is top of the line, but will run on average 30% more.

LOL.
I imagine the B&Y materials and construction are top-notch and the value-to-price ratio must be high. I was looking for the leather reclining sofa in about the $2200-2500 range to be honest.
In the $ 2K to $ 2.5K range you will most likely be shopping one of the import brands. Good luck.

I would be grateful for your advise on https://www.leatherfurnitureexpo.com...-and-set.html? It say 100% top-grain, hardwood, sinuous springs and made in USA. Too good to be true?
<chuckle> Did you look at their construction photo cutaway?
* Plywood
* Sinuous Springs
Their ad copy writer didn't even bother to look at (or understand) their build photo. Or they used the wrong photo in the ad. That's for you to decide!
You know, in this industry there is no magic to building a piece of upholstery, nor does anyone have a secret way of doing things better and faster than the other guy. Everyone in the business knows how to build it the right way, but to use top construction means a higher price, there is no way to do it for less. If a seller wants a lower price point, they have to take things out of the build or substitute lower quality materials, or use a cheaper labor force. So yes, when it looks too good to be true it usually is.

True words of wisdom, thank you sir.
