09/11 Memorial for Flight 93 in Shanksville PA
The US Park Service just opened the Flight 93 Memorial 3 days ago (Sept 11, 2015) and since today was picture perfect and I had the day off, I decided to ride up there through the backroads of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. 442 miles round trip and 10 hours on the bike. Most people there were very quiet, there was not much talking going on. I imagine most - like myself - were lost in their thoughts of where they were that day of the attack and the aftermath. It's a powerful memorial and a place of reverence.
