Hello,
I just got a protected leather couch (Smith Brothers) about a month ago and noticed a couple changes to the leather. Recently I noticed these long streaks along one of the seat cushions that sort of look like scratches but they're not terribly deep nor has the couch been exposed to any pets, sharp objects that would scratch it. I've attached a picture and am wondering whether this is just normal creases working its way into the fabric.
The second (darker photo) seems more like a scratch in feel compared the streaks above but isn't terribly deep. Though again, I'm not entirely sure how it got there and wonder if it was
I've also noticed so clear spots showing up on the leather. some of them are flat and others are kind a little raised. The couch is a darker brown color so I'm not sure if these are water or oil stains-- neither of which my couch has been exposed to but I don't recall them being there when I first got my couch.
Thanks in advance for any help
Jon
Photos are not really very clear - to do evaluations on a hide requires high res photos, good lighting (not flash) and something like a Quarter for the camera to focus on. Also, one had to take a series of shots, from far to near.
