Hello, I am new to this forum, and would appreciate some advice. I am seriously considering purchasing the BY "Everett" sofa and loveseat in Grade 2 leather King Street collection "surreal midnight". Wondering if this sofa will be deep enough to lounge on while watching tv and also want to know whether this leather is part of the married program (which I do not want). I am also a little concerned about the BY frame & spring warranties not being lifetime warranties. Advice please and thank you.
Welcome to the forum....
The BY # 676 Everett uses the # 9884 leather as its married cover, not the 9011 series hides. Seat depth is 23" inside, however the seat height is lower than normal at 19" so its what I would consider biased towards being a 'slouch' sofa. You are correct, the frame and warranty on the B-Y are limited - if you want lifetime, then move upmarket to Hancock and Moore. Having said that, issues on B-Y stationary pieces as they age are nearly non-existent. I don't think I have had a frame or spring failure in the past ten years on one.

Thank you SO MUCH for your prompt reply Mr. Collie. So very kind of you to help us with all these furniture questions. Is the leather I am considering (9011-99 Surreal-King St. Collection) a decent leather for longevity, while still having a nice look and hand? If not, what leather might you suggest in a black? Your opinion is very valued and very much appreciated. Thank you again!
My pleasure.... 9011 is a basic finished leather that is a mainstream hide. How long it lasts depends on if you follow the maintenance procedures regularly (cleaning/conditioning), not so much the type of leather.
