Default Hancock & Moore Tufting Repair Needed

My husband and I purchased our Hancock & Moore chesterfield sofa 2 years ago this month, I love the sofa; but was very disappointed last evening when I noticed a button tuft had undone from the backrest of the sofa. I called the furniture store we purchased it from this morning and they weren't sure if it would be covered under the warranty. Wondering if anyone has had experience with a tuft repair, I know tufting is difficult to begin with--so trying to figure out what I should be prepared for. 2 years isn't a long time to have an issue with a piece of furniture that gets light use?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Generally this can be repaired by an in-home upholstery service. What Hancock and Moore usually does is ask the dealer to get a quote for the repair, and then they will allow up to a certain dollar amount on it for a 2-year-old sofa. Anything over and above that the store or retail customer takes care of. It's been a few years since I had a popped button issue, however they are not particularly hard to fix. Ask your selling dealer to contact H&M customer service on it.

Tip: Call around and see who will come out and do it in your area and what they charge. Your selling dealer will probably say 'We don't know who will do the repair' and if you have the info ready for them, it will make your life easier. You should be able to find someone in most areas to do it for $ 100 or less, its a 10 minute fix.
