Lol I know, horrible idea. Truly I would never try it! Hardwoods are so dense.
I would love nail samples, but I'm afraid there isn't time with my deadline constraints.
Narrowing down choices to finalize my decision. Tiburon java with Nottingham wood, I think, but with what nails... Need input please... If you have a few minutes to see how these nails look with my leather choice since you have them on hand, it would be very much appreciated.
FFF pewter

S truscan
CC carpenters
This is getting personal...lol. What do YOU like?
My pick would be the "DD" nail, but that's just what I like. Or the "A".

Lol that is the problem... I don't know what I like!! Hm you're right, because I dont think I care much for the a or dd nails, lol. Do you have a second to snap some pics of those nails next to the tiburon java, pretty please?
Thank you, that is very helpful actually!!!
Believe I have decided on the CC carpenter's nail, though I go back and forth between it and the FFF pewter. I think the pewter may blend in TOO much with the darker leather color. I think the nail needs to add some pop...
Q on the down cores, with the lifetime core replacement, does that include the ultradown ones? And how often in a lifetime/ is there a cap?
if you want a silver nail, then the CC will give more pop than the FFF, which will more or less blend into the hide color. Yes, that core replacement means as long as you own the piece, and are the original owner. It's not often they need replacing, however - they are durable cores. Note that this policy is subject to change - Hancock and Moore has always done it since they began their company, but that doesn't mean it will always be in place.

Duane, If a piece comes with Nail heads but the customer choses not to have them installed is there typically any cost savings?
None.
