Hi there! We've decided on the Poet chair and two Poet swivel chairs (paired with a Salvatore sofa 4831).
I have questions about the nails that come "standard " as part of the design and don't cost anything more to have on the piece. Is what we see on the e-catalog pictures what comes on the pieces standard? I'm almost positive that the answer is yes because when otherwise there's a disclaimer after the measurements that says something like "Shown with Y nails, standard A nails".
Duane you said you would not recommend nails on the front arm inserts of the Poet and I couldn't remember where I'd gotten the idea of nails on the arm inserts and it was from the catalog! Here's my question:
Are nails standard on the arm inserts of the Poet swivel along with gimp as per the picture below but not on the Poet chair? I'm choosing fabric for the swivels, would ANY nails / gimp be standard on them then?
These are scree shots from the e- catalog on the H&M website.

Well there you go. One of the few times, maybe the only time, where the one variant shows nails up the arm panel and the other doesn't.
The # 4878 comes standard with the "R" nail, which is a mid-size nail
The # 4878-S comes standard with the "R" nail as well.
So here's what happened. H&M has goofed up on the photo in the E-Catalog and put a photo in of a custom, by mistake (no disclosure that the nails in the arm panel are optional). I know its a custom because that's a smaller 'S' nail running in the arm panel. Their policy is that when they do that, you get as shown in the photo at no extra charge for that model only. So with the - S chair it would be no charge, on the other chair - the stationary, it would have a $ 98 surcharge to do that.

Does anyone have a picture of the back of the Poet chair? Do the nails continue running on the back of it?
Nails along the back at the base are easy to do, even if not officially included, if you want them I'll make sure they are put on. I did call and ask, but everyone is at Market right now and until that settles back down those kind of questions are hard to get answered.
