Duane, are there any pull-up leathers from BY that you might recommend in their product offerings?
Everything on their GR 6 handle, Sunset Gables, are decent pull-ups.

Duane,
Are you saying that only B&Y Gr6 leathers are pull ups, or that the pull ups you'd recommend just happen to be Gr6?
For the 543-25 chair, I'll want a full aniline &/or pull up. I've looked through all the B&Y leather photos, but still feel less knowledgeable about their leathers than I've come to be with H&M. I'm glad EddieB asked this question, as it was something I was wanting to know myself for when I order the chair.
Are there other colors in the Sunset Gables line, or any that have the distressed/worn/antiqued look, but are NOT finished?
Right now, every GR 6 Leather in Sunset Gables is a pull-up, and all the true Italian pull-ups are in that group. All are good in the group.

Thanks again, for the lightning fast response, Duane! Lol
That pretty much answered my question. I'm flipping through the B&Y leather photo threads again & while I understand B&Y chose to name their Grades, they're still using #s for each individual hide, correct? If so, what are the Gr6 series numbers? Their numbering system is a bit confusing: for instance some of the 90xx- series are indicated as being of Gr3+ in the photos; yet, you'd naturally assume that as the numbers increased, so would the grades. I was going off that presumed progressive numbering system, thinking the leathers beginning with 90xx were entry graded hides &/or finished leathers.
Thanks again for your assistance
Here's the current B-Y Leather Manifest, I created a new thread to post it and put a sticky on it, so it will stay at or near the top of the category in LEATHER.
