    Funny story.

Walked into a local store here in Minneapolis yesterday. They purportedly specialize in the highest quality designer furniture for the lowest prices. The place looked awesome: high-ceilinged warehouse, and in the dim intimate lighting, the furniture looked very luxe, very high-end. Then red flags: all the tags were ripped off, replaced with the stores' own. No way to know the manufacturer or make, because they pick up most of their inventory from designer close-outs, "private labels,"and showroom floor samples, as the saleswoman explained.

And then there was this mirror.

I recognized it right away because I ordered the same mirror for my home from a retailer in Florida just earlier this month. It's unmistakable, over 80 inches tall, a hinge on each side for wall mounting. I've been talking to Asomer about it for days. I paid $350 for it new. Here it is, at the fancy high end designer store for 50% off of a $2770.00 MSRP.

There's a sucker born every minute!! Someone will pay that price not knowing what they are getting...but thinking it is something special because the store is fancy and has high prices on everything.
