In better quality furniture, especially upholstery, there sometimes is a need for replacement cores or parts or repair of a piece. The most daunting task is identifying what the item is ten years after it was purchased, or what leather or fabric it was made in. Almost no-one has their receipt or can tell the model number or cover. That begins a game of emailing photos trying to guess the piece for a replacement part. Sometimes we can, other times not.

So here's a tip. When you get your receipt, either put it or a photocopy inside the one of the seat cushion casings. Most all of them unzip and place it in there. That way, you will always have it and all you have to remember is you put the receipt in the seat casing. Now when you need a part or repair, its easy to identify it.
