Hey all I'm Mark from Decatur Al. I joined to get some insights for buying a quality leather recliner. I am a big guy (340 lbs) with bad knees and back. I recently tried out a BY recliner that fit me well and wanted some feedback back about handling my weight. The model number is 47BY-932-35.

You should be fine if the recliner fits you, Mark. I would recommend you get it motorized (will add about $ 150 to the price). There is less shock to the mechanism in a motorized unit than a manual, and as such the mechanism will last longer. Always be sure to fully close the recliner before you get up from it, do not leave it partially open. Good luck.
