Default Thoughts on nail head trim for H&M 4845 Envelop sofa?

We are looking closely at ordering a pair of H&M Envelop #4845 sofas.

They would be a medium grey color (Glamour Steel)

Nail head trim is not standard but can be done as a custom option. We would look for a silver or gunmetal color nail head.

Think it's too much or would look good???

    thanks...

Envelop is a wonderful sofa, sits very plush and DOES envelop you (everyone calls it the envelope sofa for some reason, like you mail a letter in). If that were my sofa, I'd get it in the new Black Pearl nail.

Black Pearl would be an interesting choice.
Any idea where the trim would be done or a guess at the cost adder amount?

Not sure I understand your question? But let me give it a shot. If you specify nails they are done at the factory, and you can either draw a diagram where you want them or simply say 'factory discretion'. To add the basic # 9 size nails to a sofa from my store would cost $ 135, however each dealer sets their own prices.

thanks- that does answer my questions.

Wonder if i could ask for a "factory recommendation diagram" on where they would suggest to put nailhead trim and review/approve that before it's done just so everyone is on the same expectation.

Ahhh..no. "factory Discretion is just that - at their discretion. It only takes 5 minutes to draw out what you want on a piece of paper, then submit to your dealer.

What I do is pull the photo off the website, then run it through Photoshop and remove the color and lighten the contrast, now I have a better work platform. Then get my Sharpie fine marker out and put in dots where I want the nails. Here's a photo for you to work with. Download it, then print it off.
