Sometimes you are just limited by your imagination and how deep your pockets might be. If you can dream it - and pay for it - I think Hancock and Moore can make it. Other companies would look at this and just shake their head. Look at those button rows...wow. It's a one piece unit, I can't even imagine the difficulty in delivering this, wide doorways a must.

I have been looking at Hancock and Moore for many weeks and know the quality is superb. I have read through the forum and find it so helpful. Thanks to our Fearless Leader for the great information. I also have to say I love your sense of humor!
I can't make up my mind and it is killing me. I am usually a very decisive person. I want this furniture to last a long time so I feel pressure making sure I pick the right leather type and color without the ability to see it "in person". Showrooms near me only have a few Hancock & Moore pieces and the H&M website does not indicate leather type and color when items are displayed. I appreciate all of the photos you have here. I had decided on the Document Latte and after seeing a picture here, I do not like the look...looks fake to me.
We have room that is about 22' x 24' and are thinking of getting the Utah Chair and Ottoman, the Utah sofa and the Utah Lounger.
The problem I am having is making a decision on the leather. I had 17 samples sent to me and now after reading info in this forum, I think I was thinking of it all wrong. I only ordered samples of Protected leather.
So, we have adult children, so we will have little ones in the coming years. We have 2 grandees that "rule the roost" honestly and we want the new furniture to wear well.
Please provide suggestions. We like the Quest Harness but concerned it may be took dark and more of a popular color overall and we are looking for something more unique. We also like Columbia Acorn but concerned that it is Class I and may not wear well.
This is a big investment so we want to GET IT RIGHT.
Please help!?

Hi tntcooper, I can't help with the specific leathers, but Duane has this program that I think you'll like:
http://www.myfurnitureforum.com/show...adington-Young
It lets you touch and feel the entire set of leathers for H&M. It costs you shipping, but I believe if you end up ordering from Duane he credits you that amount back. I find photos are very poor indicators of what the leather looks like in person. I've taken photos of my own sofa and the color and sheen varies dramatically with different angles & lighting
thank you!
I continue to read and have a few questions - with Capri not being protected, does it scratch easy? If it does scratch, can they be less noticeable with maintenance? I would maintain faithfully.
Same questions apply to the Mesquite Saddle, Imperial Whiskey, Buckingham Walnut and Hyde Park lines. thanks
Hi, tntcooper.
My husband and I recently received our H&M pieces: one covered in a Capri hide and the others covered in a Hyde Park hide. We are 100% thrilled with our choices! The Capri feels like very, very fine glove leather. It does not show scratch marks. Thus far, it has proven durable. The Hyde Park has a nice hand, as well, and does show some scratch marks that are easily rubbed out, but we like the lived-in look. (FYI: We no longer have children in the nest. Nor do we have pets.) Of course, everyone has personal preferences and needs, but we wouldn't change a thing about our H&M pieces!

Also if you look at some of the sticky threads at the top of this forum they talk about what to expect from the different leather types and how the leathers wear.
