I had been longing for pillows made from the basket red leather from Hancock and Moore from the moment I saw it. When I quit smoking (after 40 years!), I decided to set the money I would have spent on cigarettes aside till I had enough for the pillows. The minute I had enough money that had not literally gone up in smoke, I ordered them. I was uncertain how the woven leather would work, but it just seemed reporting the risk since I am a weaver. I had just about given up on them when out of the blue, they showed up on my doorstep!
They are fabulous!!!' They are almost exactly the same color as my Capri Claret recliner, so they finish off the room nicely. I'm very proud of my pillows, and proud of myself for being smoke-free for six months!
That's Lady Jasper. She doesn't miss a chance to mug for the camera!
Those do look nice and congrats on quitting and sticking with it! I see Jasper's tongue poking out, cute.
Those are soo beautiful and they look perfect on that sofa! Congrats also on quitting, an amazing accomplishment!
Thank you so much. I still cannot believe I spent $400 for two throw pillows (a fact I can NEVER share with friends who might well have me committed!), but they are totally worth it. The woven leather is just about as cool as anything I've ever seen, and the fact that they had this leather in red was just dumb luck.
They are incredibly well made. They have a zipper in case the pillow should ever have to be replaced. They're just perfect! But then, has Hancock and Moore ever done anything less???
And of course, I cannot thank Duane enough for getting me samples, finding questions to answers, and tracking them when it appeared they might have been lost.
And it was TOUGH to get that leather! But you persevered and eventually they were made!
