Hi all,
I recently helped a friend move and while we were cleaning out her basement I came accoss this dining table and 4 chairs. She asked me to throw it in the dumpster. It was a wedding gift from her recently deceased husbands first marriage. I've tried to find any info on this set but have come up with nothing. The table is expandable. I believe it to be from the late 19th century to early 20th based on the wood cutting method and screw type. I believe it to be solid oak. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
Did you check on the bottom of the table and chairs to see if there are any markings/stamps? There might be on the table and you can google that.
It's factory-made of strip-board oak, with little saleable value. Use it and enjoy.
