Default If you can imagine it, Hancock and Moore can build it

One of the things I really like about Hancock and Moore is they are a "Yes" company, when so many out there are ones that like to say "No, we don't / can't do that". Why can H&M do things other upholstery makers cannot? Because they have real artisans working for them - masters of what they do, not just line employees like most companies in this industry. Give them a project, they'll get it done. If you're thinking "How much will that cost?", then yes - custom pieces will have upcharges, however I find them to be reasonable and not excessive. Here's a few pieces I wanted to show you that are outside the norm, and two of these photos demonstrate what you can do with a single frame just by using your imagination and changing up colors and textures. They will even hand paint pieces such as in the backs of these four barstools you see, and that's a lot of fun.

    Enjoy!

And here's a photo of some of the people at H&M that I deal with on a daily basis, thought I would tell you a little about them.

Jimmy - is the Moore of Hancock and Moore. This man loves his business and knows more about making upholstered furniture than anyone on the planet, I kid you not. He absolutely loves to give tours of the facility and tell stories, getting a personal tour with Jimmy is a real treat. He retired once, they told me he lasted about three weeks and was back in short order. Now he's 83 years old and in the plant every day. And he still buys sports cars, bright ones!

Gloria - is the Office Manager and one of four original employees in the company. She knows Hancock and Moore better than anyone in the place, inside and out. Gloria is my go-to person when things need to be done on an order, or I have a situation with an order - because she gets things done. I talk to Glo almost every day, usually after they have closed at 5 p.m. and we get sidetracked into a hundred other topics as well. She's one-of-a-kind and will do anything for you. She is fiercely loyal to the company and would never work anywhere else!

Pam - is one of the Customer Service ladies who is by-the-numbers great. A detail person, she makes sure all the orders are entered correctly and will call me even if I have a small typo on a purchase order to make sure every order is accurate and we get exactly what YOU - the customer wants. Pam knows the company inside-out as well, so she's # 1 when I have a tough question that needs the right answer. You know that one person you call when you need to know something and you need it quick and right? That's Pam.

Tonya - If you like the website and photos you see, plus all the Marketing materials, Tonya is who does that at H&M. She has a brilliant eye for composition and design. A few Markets ago, she was intrigued with my new Fuji X100T camera and asked if she could borrow it to take photos and see how it handled and composed. Well, her photos -with my camera - were ten times better than what I could do. When I have a design question, I often go to Tonya for her sense of style. She is also Gloria's daughter, and came to work at H&M right out of college.

Just a few of the good people at Hancock and Moore that like to say "Yes, we can do that"
