    Default Old School Meets New

Hmmm..no posts in this forum, so I'll add one in just to get it rolling.

Here's my new 24" i-Mac (which is totally cool and I may never go back to a Windows computer again) atop my tiger maple top/stained pine base, desk in my Library at home. Desk is by Bucks County Furniture and I like it so much that I have the same one at my office at the store, but in a different wood combination. Lots of surface area to spread out and work, plus a REAL letter size file cabinent on the left side.

GT2 to be exact! Now if EVERYONE here on the forum would buy at least $ 10,000 worth of furniture I could have the real thing ....

Hey Duane, I've done my part. Can I have the first ride?

Is that like mistaking a Hancock & Moore piece for a Randall Allan?

Actually, upon closer inspection I think that's an Aston Martin in the Avatar, is it not?

The local (Tyson's Corner, VA) Aston Dealer ran an ad in the paper in mid-December advertising brand new 2008 Aston V8 Vantage Coupes with MSRP's of $ 119K to $ 123K for a price of $ 89K. That's one heck of a markdown - $ 30,000 off sticker. I could not believe it and called them up. It was true, they had 15 of them in-stock. What color did I want?

    "ANY COLOR IS JUST FINE."

I briefly considered how much pain I would have to endure were I to bring one home. Decided that three to five years in the doghouse wasn't worth it....

Ha ha ha, good one. LOL

Actually it's an Aston Martin Vanquish, much more $ than the Vantage. I'm hoping that someday I have one...
