    Default Mixing different wood finishes

I just got a new piece of furniture for my bedroom (A Better Homes and Gardens Square 4-Cube Organizer, Natural finish, from Walmart). The only other piece of furniture is a computer desk and filing cabinet that I'm thinking about upgrading, however I can't find a finish that matches the organizer. Would it be okay to get a different color/finish? I'm thinking maybe something in black.

    mistern,
Since none of the pros have responded, I will tell you what I was told 40 some years ago when I asked this Q--Yes! In fact, in current terminology, this is a feature, not a bug! Good luck!

Natural and black look great together. You can sometimes find that combo on a single piece.
