Question Opinion on Flexsteel Power Reclining Sofa Zoey in Leather

My husband and I are considering purchasing a Flexsteel power reclining sofa. The style is Zoey. It is available in leather 360-70 Pacific Walnut. Is Flexsteel good? What about the leather? I can't find which leather is used on the sofa, but according the Flexsteel's website they have aniline, semi aniline, and pigmented. The salesperson said it is not bonded. Any information on these types of leather? Thank you for your assistance.

I found " A primer in selecting leather < BEST LEATHER THREAD ON THE FORUM < READ" posted by our fearless leader. Great information and answered my question on the types of leather. I would still appreciate any information or opinion anyone has on Flexsteel. Thank you!

I would have to see and touch the samples of Flexsteel leather to evaluate them, sorry. In general, Flexsteel USA (not their imported Latitudes line) is service-duty grade furniture. If you don't expect too much from it, then it's OK for the most part - just don't overpay for the piece.

Thank you for your input. I do not know what service-duty grade furniture is. I'm very new at trying to get the most out of my money rather than just buying what feels comfortable at a low price.

I refer to "Service-Duty" grade furniture as pieces that will not fall apart, but have noticeable tailoring and design shortcomings. It is not crafted, it's assembled. If Flexsteel were a food it would be a Big Mac. Fills you up, reasonable in price, however it will never be mistaken for good dining.
